How many seats are available for YAF Canada 2026?
There are 100 seats available, divided into Fully Funded, Partially Funded, and Self-Funded categories:
- 10 Fully Funded seats
- 30 Partially Funded seats (including 5 for social media campaigners)
- 50 Self-Funded seats
The selection committee determines category placement based on leadership experience, impact, and application quality.
What does each funding category include?
- Fully Funded: Airfare reimbursement (fixed amount), accommodation, meals, conference kit, cultural evening, and certificate.
- Partially Funded: Meals, conference kit, cultural evening, and certificate.
- Self-Funded: Paid delegate package with access to the same benefits (excluding airfare reimbursement).
Is there an application fee?
Yes, the £20 application fee is mandatory and non-refundable for all applicants.
Can I apply without a passport?
Yes, you may use a National ID temporarily but must obtain a passport before the final selection.
How can I pay the application fee?
Payment options are provided in the application portal, including PayPal and bank transfer.
What is the application deadline?
The deadline to apply is July 20th, 2025, 11:59 GMT.
When will results be announced?
Selection results will be released on July 30th, 2025.
Can I edit my application after submission?
No, applications are final and cannot be modified after submission.
What are the selection criteria?
Applications are reviewed based on leadership achievements and social impact. The selection committee assigns applicants to categories accordingly.
Does YAF assist with visas?
YAF provides an invitation letter and visa guidance but does not guarantee visa approval.
What if I am not selected for a funded spot?
You can still attend by paying the Self-Funded delegate fee, approximately £400 (tentative, without accommodation) or £600 (with accommodation).
What if I am awarded a Fully Funded seat?
Airfare reimbursement (specific amount) will be provided post-event after completing community engagement activities and a testimonial.

When will invitation letters be issued?
- Fully and Partially Funded delegates receive letters upon selection.
- Self-Funded delegates receive letters after purchasing their package.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General
By accessing a website operated by Youth Ambassador Fellowship (YAF), an international non-profit organization, you (referred to as “the participant,” “partner,” “registered user,” and “contractual partner” in this agreement) declare that you have understood and accepted the following Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Data Privacy Protection
We ensure highly compliant privacy protection for your data. However, YAF is not responsible for any information that was illegally taken from our databases. The participant agrees to not take any legal actions toward the organization due to cyber-attacks.
Application & Self-Funded Package Fee
Application fee is not refundable and cannot be challenged if you are not selected in any category. Approximate self-funded package will fall between £499 to £699. Self-Funded delegates are liable to submit package fee in advance through required medium following results.
Events organized by YAF and/or its affiliated entities
The participant understands and agrees that the application fee is non-refundable. The participant agrees to not take any legal actions toward the organization for refusal to refund the application fee. The participants also agree to not engage in any oral, visual, and/or auditory defamation of the organization (especially if the participants do not agree with the category he/she was placed in) and understand that a breach of this clause will result in legal actions.
Travel expenses purchased by the organization are for the participant’s personal use and may not be re-sold or transferred under any circumstances without the prior consent from the organization.
The organization is not responsible for any loss, injury, and/or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement of an event. YAF reserves the right to alter and/or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics as well as the date, time, and location of the events, without any liability whatsoever.
Payment
YAF uses third-party providers, such as PayPal, Western Union, and Stripe, to provide secure online payment services. The use of these services is subject to their own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Non-disclosure Agreement
Participants shall not disclose any confidential information or use it for their own benefit or the benefit of any third party without prior written consent of YAF.
Liability
YAF will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to any person or property howsoever caused prior, during, and after events and summits. YAF will not be responsible for any belongings that are lost or stolen.
YAF reserves the right to remove and ban any person from summit events with prior notice of reasonable cause. Additionally, the organization reserves all rights to prohibit use of mobile phones or other communication devices during the event to maintain decorum and focus of participants.
Selection and placement of delegates in given categories will only be decided by the selection board and cannot be challenged. The organization also reserves the option to allocate specific scholarships following the evaluation of the profile score of the applicant, ensuring meritocracy.
